Now I am craving fried pickles soooooooooo bad!! Only tried them for the first time maybe five years ago. Was out-of-state training for a new management job, and the lady I was with ordered them and insisted I try one. Thought they sounded so gross - WRONG!! Haven't had them in forever (we don't have a Sonic here :( ).

Never had one. Just can't imagine anything good about a fried pickle.

I am not really much of a pickle person, I guess. I like one those big ones out of the barrel now and then.. munch. Or a bite of a bread an butter.

Fried ?
I didn't think I'd like them either. I tasted one to please a friend of mine who kept bugging me to try it, and I really liked them. It was not anything like I expected it would be. Some things are just like that.

I like Yum Yum pickles in a sandwich with sliced process cheese (Kraft) on chewy whole wheat bread and a light touch
slathering
of mayo.
Oh yeah, those are really good too. My niece made me a "bread and butter" pickle sandwich like that once. I was appalled but ate it anyway because I didn't want to hurt her little feelers. I was shocked to find that it was delish! It's still one of my go to sammies.

Stuffed Mushrooms!
I don't eat meat anymore, but you can stuff a mushroom with a lot of other stuff other than meat.

And Deep Fried Mushrooms

I am so hungry right now. I gotta go raid my pantry.

I have been a vegetarian for eighteen years. I make awesome stuffed mushrooms. Too bad I quit liking mushrooms about six months ago. I'm a little wacky.

I have been vegetarian for most of my life. Once in a while I can eat meat. I don't know how or why that happens, but when it does there is a cheeseburger somewhere near.
When I was really young I ate some hamburger that had a bit of something hard and grisly in it and it grossed me out so bad I refused to eat meat again. So I didn't for a very long time.
