Neesy -- one tactic-- if they have not posted in the last month and are relatively new, skip it. If an older member, even if they have been gone, out of respect post a b'day.
My computer just turned itself off suddenly (sorry for the double post).

There I was typing along happily when all of a sudden the screen went black and the power went off - I was over looking at the Members and Today's Birthday's section.

Usually I would click over on the left, but yesterday I noticed there was a second listing over on the right which I clicked on. Being a Monday I guess I wasn't paying attention to the words that said "See more..."

Hi there sports fans

No B-days to report today, just several newbies and out of five people listed, four have 0 messages and 0 likes. One had 3 messages and 20 likes and last posted September 14th

Just to let you guys know that I'm trying to keep on top of things!

Greatly appreciated.

Have we decided yet--come January, to just do a general month Happy Birthday post for one and all within that month? ( first open day of the month)

So will we do a thread like "January Birthdays" and then just add to that thread daily? Still tag people but contained within one thread as opposed to individual threads?

Thought-- first open day just post one Happy Birthday thread- "January Birthdays" and wish a GENERAL all born within that month a Happy Birthday. Listing will still require someone to ck the closed days.

You would not only have to check the closed days, you would have to check EVERY day. I liked the way the previous incarnation of the Board was - you could see the birthdays for the whole month.

I did get a comment from one friend who came back here to check the Board and found it hard to navigate the new format.
