We realize it's a commitment of time that not everyone would be able to do for an extended period, so going forward we're hoping people will be willing to volunteer to do the birthday list even if it's just a week.

Our first volunteers are

Spideyman will do the birthdays for the remainder of August

do1you9love? will do the birthdays for September

I have a couple of weeks vacation in October but I will sign up for November to keep track of the birthdays

I just looked at the birthday calendar for October. I only recognized a handful of names. Some have joined but havn't posted. Some havn't posted in forever. How do y'all decide which members to make birthday boards for?

One way-- if you do birthday on the day of their actual date, look at Members (notable) there will be avatars for that day.

When I did the thread eons ago, I would ck each for date joined, and date of last activity. Post count can also be used. Some are older member who has been gone awhile, but were still familiar members. Then there is always a member who posts "today is my birthday" in a thread, but they are not listed. So I do a belated b'day thread.
Just use your judgement as to how you feel comfortable.

We'll be out of town the first few days of October so if someone wants to handle the first week, I can do the rest of the month.

I'm sure not everyone would enjoy doing it, but I think it's fun. I would even be willing to rotate and do it every few months, if needed.

I do miss pegasus216, though! Hope she's ok. Does anyone have a contact for her since she's shut down her profile page??
