I have been searching the 'net, trying to find out if Joyland was offered by The Stephen King Book Club. I ask because I never got one. I have become so lazy, I just wait until books arrive at the door :) I just recently figured out this one never came. Does anyone know ?
It's possible that one wasn't included since it wasn't a Scribner publication but perhaps one of the actual SK Library members can verify that. You may not have The Colorado Kid through them as well since that was also published by Hard Case Crime instead of Scribner.

...I am a member, and it was NOT one of their offerings...I picked it up elsewhere...

What is this SK Book Club you speak of? I've never heard of such a thing.

Typical book club, once a month they send you a book club edition of one of SK's novels or calendars or whatever. You can chose to keep it or return it. New releases arrive shortly after release date. On the bookclub website you can select the books you already have, so that they won't be included in your membership choices. Desk Caledar every year around Christmas. Stephen King Library

I joined around when Bag of Bones came out, and haven't regretted my membership. I still have my free plastic skeleton keychain gift push-pinned to my book shelf.
