Got some tax money back this year, and decided to buy some books that I've been wanting for a while.

    I bought:
    Cycle of the Werewolf
    The Dead Zone
    Dolores Claiborne
    The Regulators
    Danse Macabre
Locke and Key, Volume One by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez
A Season in Carcosa, Edited by Joe Pulver
    The Croning by Laird Barron
The Red Tree by Caitlin R. Kiernan

I've got one more to get for now, and that is In the Tall Grass on ibooks. I'll be ordering that one shortly.

Anyone else got any good book hauls lately?

Not all at once like that. I've been burning up my rewards points at Amazon on kindle-books and a couple book-books. I get "reward points" for doing business with a construction materials supplier/distributor and I can redeem those points at a number of businesses on-line so I buy books, Elmore Leonard a few Lawrence Block...a used Poul Anderson, There Will Be Time, has some time travel within...The Illuminaries...that I started and stopped at the 35% complete mark...maybe The Orphan Master's Son, a good read. I'm down to my last four dollars and I'll likely have to pay in rather than get a refund. Thank you for the list...I'll have to check out some reviews on those last four.

Alas, my waistline has been telling me of late that the cookies gotta slow down a bit...or quite a lot....or something like that. :)

Great book haul friend! I'm still too cheap to buy new books - I have to buy them used, just have to. Season in Carcosa sounds magnificent! freaky-scary.

Please tell me you bought at least 4 boxes of Girl Scout cookies! I still have 8 boxes I'm trying to unload.

Nice acquisitions, Chuggs! I was particularly excited to see you got the Volume 1 of Locke & Key, better start saving for the rest of the volumes because once you start, you'll be hooked!

Yep, I figure. I'll be getting the others if I enjoy the first one, which I'm sure I will. :)

Me too! haha Most of these are used. And no, I actually didn't buy any GS cookies this time around. But my mom did, and my daughters ate them up in one visit! haha :)

Just got two of books in! (had some billing issues that slowed my orders down...and I've still got one to reorder) Locke and Key and The Croning came in today. Yippee!

And I've yet to order In the Tall Grass.
