Hi, fellow Readers! Most folks just call me Twigg, and you can too. It's been 3 hours since my last book immersion, (The Stand), and I'm not planning on quitting anytime soon, so I really don't know why I'm....Wait. Crap. This isn't Bookaholics Anonymous, is it?:a11:

Anywho, I've been lurking for a couple of years, and figured I'd mosey on out and put my boots to the sand with a quick little howzit to y'all. I've been a Constant Reader now for over 20 years, and while I'd like to think I know pretty much all things SK, I learn every day that's far from the truth. If you want an intelligent, open-minded chat about almost anything, I'm your girl, but I do have a couple laws I operate by:

1. I don't do political discussions. People's personal dogmas rarely see eye to eye, and it's even rarer to change someone else's way of thinking.

2. I don't believe in devaluing someone else's opinions. While I'm not so naive to think that everyone sees the world the way I do, that by no means that your view is any less correct or valued as my own.

3. You can pick your friends, and you can pick your nose, but you can't pick your friend's nose.

It's great to see you all, and I look forward to getting to know you all a bit better, and thus know myself a little better as well. :typing:

Welcome to the Board!

We have a separate area for political discussions and an Ignore feature so it's easy enough to avoid those.

Hope to see you posting and getting to know us all on a more personal basis--at least from the SKMB standpoint--now that you've taken the plunge.
