Hello all Stephen King fans from all over the world! My name is Jeannine and I'm pushing 60, married 27 years to the same guy, even though he's not really a fan of Mr. King's writing, he prefers 'hard' science fiction, so we've agreed to disagree on this.
But, I'm still reading whatever Mr. King chooses to publish and I'll be forever grateful for King's rave reviews of Clive Barkers work, such a big heart from such a talented writer! I've been reading Mr. King's work from the first time I saw and grabbed up a copy of 'Carrie', a story to this day that still amazes me and breaks my heart at how Mr. King was able to recreate the living hell of the 'unpopular types' in the average school anywhere. Yes, I remember that he was a teacher at one time, but I don't doubt Mr. King himself went through a fair share of hell in school as well.
Thanks for this discussion forum and a place to share our delight in all things King-ly!
