    Welcome Matt48a. I moved to Ireland in 1990. From watching the soaps I learned a lot of English slang in a short time. The Irish have their own version.

    I watch Coronation Street up here in Canada and have heard insults like "'ya bleedin' toe rag" and "why don't you pull a runner you slapper!". I once heard a comedian do a "British Accent" by saying, in three different lilts "I love Haggis on me lucky charms, guvnor!"
