This is one of my favorite books i am a big fan of stories/movies where people have special powers. Everytime i read this it makes me wish i had pyrokinesis like Charlene McGee. Lol anyone else agree with me:hell_boy:

Heck no! I can't even control my sailor mouth sometimes--far worse if I could literally 'flame' someone! :D

It would make getting rid of those 4 foot snowdrifts a lot easier in my town!

Ever since reading the book, I've wanted the dad's "pushing" ability - just without the TIAs that seemed to go along with them.

Yea & that really messes with peoples minds like it did with Cap:icon_eek:

During the first (second, and third) episode of NBC's Believe I wondered if King was getting any kickback.

Way much similarity; maybe not plaigarism, but a hefty borrow.

I like the show so far either way.

I'd rather have the 'push'. I think i have to many anger issues and there would be too many 'barbecues' where i live if i had the firestarter. haha

I'm not a violent person so the push would be much more useful to me than the burn.

Yea but the push damages your own brain and plus the people its used on get their minds messed up too.

Really enjoyed this book, loved the characters and the special powers they had, and it really had a great chase feel to it. The Push power reminded me of stars wars Jedi Mind Tricks

I'm loving this one. I haven't seen the movie, so it's all been new to me. I've put off reading this one and Cujo for over 25 years. No excuses.

Still one of my favorites, I think I've read it 4 or 5 times cover to cover through the years.

Well, this is nearly a year old, I didn't see it - I must have been on the beach - but as a matter of fact, I was reading this on the beach - evidence:

LOL - it looks that way, doesn't? Nope - it's my youngest - I swear she's wearing a swimsuit - I think there's a red floral print right where her crack is . No skinny dipping on Pop's beach. His rule, not mine.;;D
