My relatives called. They're coming to visit.
We have a bi-racial family. On one side are the demons that hide out as circus folk, and the other are the humans.

There were always the ravens staring at me with those bleak soulless eyes that showed me the way to hell. There was no way for me to go, for the creaking of the noose around my neck as I swung over the sterile desert waste was a constant reminder that my death bound me to this land, and this land i shall forever roam.

Space squirmed in blackness and the entire solar system the ship was approaching convulsed on the back of a camouflaged impossibility, it's multiple heads, opening eyes on the surfaces, blinking with reptile pupils, turned to face the little metal meal. The "planets" were heads and the thing stretched it's length out, wrapping void-appearing, star-reflective substance around the cruiser and feeding it forward into hungry mouths yawning wide in those bulging spheres.
The run-on sentence was a ravenous horror. It wrapped itself around the writer and choked the life out of him.
She looked at the naked book, its cover cast aside for simplicity's sake, mildly surprised to see the semicolon. It loomed large, mocking her with unseen adverbs and untold to be verbs, sentence fragments ahead.
And I'm still stick in a strange version of It. My childhood friends are the ones I knew from the start, grew apart from, and still remain, in Derry. Facebook can't touch the root of this intense connection and when it's gone it stays no matter what, through everything.
