Has anyone ever used one of the mats designed to protect your vehicles seat from car seats?

Brand new car. Just ordered brand new car seat.

DH wants to protect his vehicle from the seat and the child that will be in the seat.

As long as it will be buckled down,why not just use a blanket underneath,or a nice cheap heavy duty horse blanket you can get at your local hardware or Tractor Supply store..

Depending on the model and style some of them don't fit all that well;

Maybe try looking online at Canadian Tire?

p.s.
For the Americans - Canadian Tire has a lot more than just tires :friendly_wink:

Blankets don't protect from indentations or spills. (Some protectors also cause indentations.)
Yes,that is why I suggested the horse blankets,they are stiffer and heavier duty than regular ones..I keep one in my truck in case of coming on accidents where someone may need help getting out through a broken window,they are sturdy enough to cover glass without worrying about getting cut..also a good emergency blanket if you ever get stranded in freezing weather..
