"Carrie II" looked more like the real-life girl Carrie

Let me explain,,,, I was in real High School Math Class (with Stephen) when (the real-life) Carrie's period started... we didn't see any blood dripping (sorry folks) but this horrible smell slowly crept over the whole class..... We all looked around: finally realizing it was coming from D. M. who was sinking lower and lower in her seat, embarrassed and ashamed...... She looked an awful lot like the girl in Carrie II, but was very short, like Sissy Spacek was.... Carrie's home (in both movies) was very similar to Stephen's home as a teen except Stephen's didn't even have any shutters.....

I saw the original version (1976?) of Carrie on Hallowe'en. Forgot just how good it was; really enjoyed seeing

Yes,,, Stephen and I we had Grades 7th - 12th and over 1000 lunches together... walked home on the railroad tracks often, but they ran beside, just east of the river and elevated from the car road,,, I didn't go to University of Maine with him, but went to Trinity College, (now called: Trinity International University) which was north of Chicago, Illinois ............

Stephen and I were in a little High School group of close friends who took all our classes together and ate all our lunches together... I remember most all of them, am sure Stephen does..... If you remember the last few lines of "Stand By Me" he was saying he would always remember.... I went to our High School reunion but he didn't show up,,, sent a letter of apology, stating he was doing a movie and could they delay the reunion... but I had gone back to Ft. Lauderdale where I lived and couldn't take more vacation time,,, When I finally did get ahold of him, the BIG Test question was "Whom did he write about in "Christine" .... I was nervous and pulled a complete blank.... all I could think about was the Strout brothers had a 1957 Desoto (like Christine) and the older Strout brother really looked like Arnie,,,, excellent answer but wrong,,,, From what I have read, Stephen is truly gifted as a writer,,,,, every page jumps out and grabs your emotions and feelings,,,,, Amazing creativity..... I have some of that too,,, and doing a book, myself ...

Sometime, back in '80s, I went on a summer road trip to Maine. In a little small town bar, somewhere off the beaten path, I had lunch. I got to talking with the bartender/waitress. She told me her name was Christine and she was SK's childhood girlfriend and he wrote a book about her... only he gave her the form of an evil car in his story.

Was Christine a Desoto in the book? I haven't read the book yet, but in the movie she was a Plymouth Fury......

Although I don't have menstrual cycles anymore, I have had my share. For at least 35 years I had periods and nary one stunk up a room. I have never known anyone who had a period that stunk up a room with a horrible smell. Fresh menstrual blood is not extraordinarily pungent. In other words menstrual blood is not like skunk juice.
Are you sure this young lady started her period that day? Maybe she simply crapped her pants.

I hope not to gross anyone out but:

Spoiler: not relevant to the story but true

the only way a period would cause a bad smell is if the girl/woman did not change her pad [like, perhaps for a couple of hours].

We went on a course with the military and a female Sergeant came in who had apparently done this. The teacher had to open a window. I felt so embarrassed about the whole thing.
