Charlie the Choo-Choo?

Seems like there's an actual book of Charlie the Choo-Choo by the fictional author Beryl Evans? That's the newest info via Lilja's Library. Will we get a new book (a short one, I'm sure) by some yet-to-be-revealed author as was the case with The Diary of Ellen Rimbauer?

...not an actual book....purely made up....BUT there ARE a couple of books out there titled Charlie the Choo-Choo or Choo-Choo Charlie. And to answer your question, no-I certainly don't see a "Choo" book ever coming down the "track....and "Diary" was released about the same time as the TV Movie series, but wasn't written by King....also, I checked out the story you reference, and it seems like a goofy movie tie-in, nothing more......since it's taking place at a Comic-Con where filming for the movie is underway....

I guess you are right. Would have been fun, though. Yup, the Diary book was written by Ridley Pearson.

Well, according to Simon & Schuster Beryl Evans is coming to Comic Con and will sign copies of Charlie The Cho Cho on Friday July 22.

So, does this mean that the tie-in movie merchandising is already starting????????

Could it be Robin Furth "posing" as Evans and that the book will be one of Marvel's one-shot comics? If so, that's not so exciting for me, since I no longer collect or read those comics. But we will soon see

Beryl Evans stole the idea from Claudia y Inez Bachman.

Just got my copy (one of the perks of the job :D). There's an actual story and gorgeous illustrations by Ned Dameron who was the artist for The Waste Lands.

My understanding is that the 150 copies will only be available at the San Diego Comic-con--at least for now. There will also be promotional t-shirts at the Con.

They are not hopeful they will be able to get one. My friends say it's insane there and there are crazy ticketing lines for almost everything.

I can't imagine that Ned Dameron would be hired to illustrate ONLY 150 copies of a comic book. He's a world class artist. There's got to be more of these coming down the line at some point.

I saw a post that Claudia might be signing some at NYCC... any truth to that?
