Per the first one, it's scary to me how some define "sense of humor". The second one is just sophomoric.Words fail me.
What do you guys think of this years new Halloween costumes?

There are the words I was looking for. Totally agree. YES, I doPer the first one, it's scary to me how some define "sense of humor". The second one is just sophomoric.
Trends, thighs, whatever.I always favor the time-honored classics of skimpy costumes for the ladies, over any current trend.
I can see the second one maybe getting a laugh at someone's front door one Halloween, but sorry, the Cecil one is simply disgusting, and all expressions when disgusting aren't satire or any other form of art.Sorry folks; I am a real fan of satire. Edgy satire. I find them funny.
We're both entitled to our own opinions and I respect yours. I grew up with the very early years of of Saturday Night Live and National Lampoon magazine and they did things like this all the time (before the phrase politically incorrect was thrown around like loose change). Maybe it's generational.I can see the second one maybe getting a laugh at someone's front door one Halloween, but sorry, the Cecil one is simply disgusting, and all expressions when disgusting aren't satire or any other form of art.

As to the specifics of the Cecil the Lion-themed costume, I can easily disassociate the immoral and inhumane acts from the satire of the costume. Maybe others cannot. That is where the debate starts.
Perfect example. We all have our limits; they just differ.I loathe the cecil costume, and just find the caitlyn one boring actually.
I totally get what you're saying here though. This is coming from someone who was going to dress up like a shriner with my own little car and have baby doll arms coming out from under the car with candy glued to the palms and a flag flying off the car saying Shriner's Children's Hospital.

Deej, I see your example as different from the Cecil one. When I have more time maybe I'll better understand what I mean and can explain it.I loathe the cecil costume, and just find the caitlyn one boring actually.
