I remember in one of the DT novels, Calvin Tower is explaning how books can be worth money if they are have printing errors. Which made me think. I bought a version of The Stand uncut (I'm thinking this was a 2003 printing, maybe?). Anyhow, the last 2 pages are out of order. I read the last page, before the second to last page, and it made me think to myself... WTF just happened, this is weird. But then, I figured it out. So I wonder if this is worth any money as a collectible, or no?

It's a valid question. Coins are often worth a lot more when there's a minting error. Now, if it had an extra chapter of text, now that might be worth some serious money!

Sounds like it could be a good SK story: SK slips an extra chapter into one of his books that only ten constant readers get, advising them to meet at a certain time and place and swearing them to secrecy or they will forfeit all "rewards", all of them go except none of the people are ever heard from again, except one person who couldn't make it that day due to an illness, then they start uncovering the mystery of...

Ah, I'll let someone else finish that one.

That's exactly why I posted what I did. It may not be a "collector's item" per se, but there may be someone out there who collects misprints. Who knows!!!
