Creepy Covers

I dont know if anyone is reading from their library on Kindle or in their browser but the covers of the King novels are soooo damn creepy. I'm reading Desperation now and the purple haze with the person sitting behind barbed wire with a bag over their head is freaking me out. Insomnia is worse, again a person with a bag over their head looking like they are gasping for air and Rose Madder was no picnic either with the bull skull and more barbed wire. Just thought I'd mention how horrible they are. I wish they could use the original covers for the on line version.

...sometimes, as I've said elsewhere-the covers of novels from other authors enticed me to try the content...didn't find a prize bull in all of them, but a few were pretty damn good....

I've seen the covers your talking about but to me they just look like bad quality camera shots, if I had to vote on the scariest SK cover I would say "Everything's Eventual" first edition cover. It looks innocent from the front, then you flip it over.
