There was a movie...television...although maybe it played at the theater as well. And this was years ago...40? give or take...about some guy who would crawl into this older couple's crawlspace. Don't recall much about the movie, only that the lady seemed to have gas when her and the old man were in the living room watching I Love Lucy or something...reading the paper maybe...and they'd hear him again...then the camera would cut to the man under the house making his way on his back like a mechanic under a car. Much of the movie had-to-do w/the couple wondering what the noise was, discovering that someone was under their home, and then their debate and discussion about who what where he came from so on so forth.

Rated R. A Horror Thriller Stalker Movie Starring Klaus Kinski.
Son of a Nazi surgeon runs an apartment filled with women and stalks them through a crawlspace.
(No I am not making this up (as Dave Barry would have said)
 Crawlspace 1986 movie

Its interesting really, as a writer, when you think of how many stories could and can be taken from true life events. (even made-up ones :) ). I mean, the truth is stranger than fiction, right?

I don't know if this was based on the novel 'Crawlspace' by Herman Raucher or not, but I read this book a long time ago (I don't remember there being a lot of women living in the house tho).

I just looked on IMDB and there's nothing listed for 'Crawlspace' by Herman Raucher. Maybe it was a different author, but I know I read it back in the late 70's.

OK, got it now! It was written by Herbert Lieberman! 1972. Creepy book, too!
