Hmmm...I love fantasy. Hated the books.
Of course.I feel like such a nerd now...I read all four books several times each while I was still quite young. Before I discovered Stephen King, and that happened when I was eleven. Then again, my mother's library is where I selected my reading material, and Tolkien was easily the best author of the lot. Besides C.S. Lewis, of course.
I love this review! While I find parts of the story interesting and the movies watchable, I have to admit, reading them is nothing but "they went up a big mountain, then down a big mountain, then fought a battle that lasted 12 pages, then sang a really annoying song for 12 more pages, then went up a big mountain..." Over the course of three books.
Freaking brilliant!LOQASHS

Slate Voness (not a plural "s", but an ess, like a super hero name). I understand this totally.I got a vanity license plate that says SL8VONS. It means absolutely nothing. I just like pissing people off by having them try to figure out what it means.
It said:
CNTMSQ.
Please, don't put the filthy interpretation on the board. Okay, maybe I'm the only one who has a dirty mind.

oooooo, that's another good one.I have no idea what you are seeing in that.
But, being a cross stitcher I see "Count My Square"
We had someone get something inappropriate years ago and when you looked at it backwards, it was bad -- people driving in front of you looking in rearview mirrors would see it. I guess the DMV look at these things inside and out to try their best to make sure it isn't something horrible.I don't know if you're joking or not....but here, you have to explain the meaning.
Years ago, someone got a plate approved that had a racist remark written in a foreign language.
Yes I am joking, and yes it means absolutely nothing... just some letters and a number thrown together, but looks like it might mean something, but really doesn't.I don't know if you're joking or not....but here, you have to explain the meaning.

LOL. You really got something out of that? It was just thrown together and meaning nothing.Slate Voness (not a plural "s", but an ess, like a super hero name). I understand this totally.
Maybe it's Seen Time Square?CNTMSQ
Center (something) Square?
I have so many super powers: making something out of nothing is definitely one of them. Just ask the Ogre. Everything means something to someone, Mr. Slate Voness.LOL. You really got something out of that? It was just thrown together and meaning nothing.

LOL. Never! But I really got a kick out of the line "I have so many super powers:..." I'll definitely have to use that one.
