Now I feel dumb for not caring where exactly cities are located--lol. I just get lost in the story and roll with it

I'm the same way ... every now and then something will make me wonder, like when Rachel drives past the Lot on her way back to Ludlow, but for the most part I just dive in. It's something to do in the small gap between new stories anyway! Now I feel dumb for not caring where exactly cities are located--lol. I just get lost in the story and roll with it

Didn't mean to offend anyone by pointing that out about JLot. As mentioned in the short story in Night Shift the sounds of the ocean waves breaking could be clearly heard. Would have to be one heck of a storm to be heard where JL is located on that map. Oh well.

Where are you, Riot? Are you still in Jamaica?
- Castle Rock doesn't exist, either, but Rob Reiner named his production company after the fictitious King town. His first film was Stand By Me.
(Knew you'd sleep better tonight knowing that.)
Love this picture
That Derry is in Northern Ireland and sometimes called Londonderry.I would love to go to Maine and visit Bangor, it would be even better if there was a Derry, Maine. I would also love to see Lisbon falls, and get a moxie from frank.
Btw, there is a Derry in Ireland too.
Ha ha, I always find it funny how the Irish and the northern irish insist that people recognise and acknowledge the difference in the 2. I new a guy once and if anyone asked if he was Irish he would get all defensive and say ULSTER!That Derry is in Northern Ireland and sometimes called Londonderry.
Usually it's the area around the town. There isn't alaways a town there, but somewhat nearby and they just call it that.Ha ha, I always find it funny how the Irish and the northern irish insist that people recognise and acknowledge the difference in the 2. I knew it was officially called Londonderry, and knew it was northern Ireland, it's just easier to say Ireland. By the way, what are townlands? I know there are a few different townland called Derry in places like Tipperary and armagh, but don't know what they are.

I second that, Linda - what a great picture!...gave me the whole 11/22/63 vibe...
and then there is the "London Derriere":Usually it's the area around the town. There isn't alaways a town there, but somewhat nearby and they just call it that.

Same dog, less hair.*sputters coffee*
You can't mean Londonderry, surely?
