She actually did a fine job of it. She had a good voice for the narration.Oh no! Not Mr Weaver! I am definitely not a fan! Have you seen 'Into the Universe' with Steven Hawking?
Not a real Pope - a mythical female Pope!I don't think so. I think there was a female pope.

It's a persistent story, for sure, but the proof isn't there. Most of the background material used in making the claim doesn't take into account either the living conditions of brothers (they had no privacy, which would make it incredibly difficult for a woman to have remained undiscovered for long) or the papal politics of the day (A Germanic MAN would be unbelievable in the papacy, let alone a woman. The Italians had a death grip on that role at the time.)
No, my son watched this and told me I needed to. What were your thoughts? I'll make sure to watch it.Dana Jean - Have you seen jesus camp? If so, what did you think?

I'll let you know my thoughts on it. I'll try to get it watched this weekend.I watched jc when it was first released in 2006. I just noticed it's available on Netflix now, so I plan a re-watch in the next couple days. It's a toughie for me, I actually knew the woman (Becky Fischer) who started this camp. I haven't seen her in over a decade (or more), so don't really know how much she's changed since then. I was told there were many things taken out of context & remember being conflicted when I first saw it - we used to go to the same church as Fischer, though I don't know if she's still affiliated with it or not. My brother is actually a pastor of the church where I first met her. Like I said - soooooo many conflicted feelings! Since it's been 8 years since I've watched it, maybe I will see things differently now.
I saw that - it was great! Very sad.I'm on night two of a fascinating doc on PBS about the Great Depression and the Dust Bowl. I'm riveted to the screen and completely blown away by the scale of the dust storms and how utterly devastating they were.
I saw it advertised, but couldn't pump up enough interest in it.Did anyone watch Paycheck to Paycheck on HBO? It was about a single mom and her financial struggles. It was Ok - I was shocked by some of her choices - but clearly she had no one to teach her or guide her.
It was...hmm.... disappointing.I saw it advertised, but couldn't pump up enough interest in it.
I watch a little guy on Fridays and while he was napping, I watched this. I in no way want to be insulting or hurt yours or anyone else's feelings on this. So I will try to give an honest opinion that is sensitive to you and your brother and your past friendship with this Becky Fischer.I watched jc when it was first released in 2006.
