I wonder what his Dad thinks of him running around barefoot?
...a mans got to know his hat limitations...He might step on a piece of glass or something. Wonder what happened that he had to leave and run so fast without shirt or shoes?
It's troubling. Glad he had time to grab the hat.

I have just two words in response that...He'd probably been cheaper than Elba. But...can the kid act?
Ain't that the truth!!I have just two words in response that...

Yes - there's the rubHe'd probably been cheaper than Elba. But...can the kid act?
I'd like to see him play Father CallahanI hope this is a good place for this. I'm a newbie and I joined to post this idea.
I am a long time DT fan, the first time I listened to The Gunslinger it was the original version before he added the bits to foreshadow the rest of the series and SK himself read it (he did a really bad job).
Anyway here is my idea about Mr. Eastwood; If he could be convinced to do it a reverse of the Marvel after the credits scene, before anything we see Roland (Eastwood) in the final scene of book 7 where (spoiler) he is sent back to the start. Granted Mr. Eastwood old but that kind of fits my mind's eye picture of Roland at the end of his quest. Since it would only be 2 or 3 minutes it should not be too tasking on Mr. Eastwood, and he was after all the model for Roland.
...that would be kinda cool, but to your point of King's audio?....dude, he's a writer-not a professional "voice"....and he can bring emotion to his characters that the "experts" might not grasp, due to not having written it....I hope this is a good place for this. True, but I still say his reading of The Gunslinger left a lot be desired. His reading of Wind Through the Keyhole was much improved, maybe even reaching the land of great....that would be kinda cool, but to your point of King's audio?....dude, he's a writer-not a professional "voice"....and he can bring emotion to his characters that the "experts" might not grasp, due to not having written it....
....his technique has matured as he has...think when it was recorded...I've done broadcast for 36 years and I'd like to think I sound better now, than the first time I keyed a mic....True, but I still say his reading of The Gunslinger left a lot be desired.
