new here - has anyone else noticed all the similar things that happened? I had finished end of watch and with in a week the first similar thing was the people that got ran down in London --I love most of SK stories ... there might already be a discussion but just came across this site and had to sign up just to ask --

Definitely was an up-tic in people being run over by loonies driving their cars into crowds. Let's hope that what happens in The Stand never comes to pass....

The world is just getting more violent. It's heartbreaking. People need better access to mental health--free services or at the very least affordable for everyone who needs one. I'm a biopsychologist by trade--or as my husband would call me a "psycho biologist."

I have actually thought a lot about The Stand lately. It seems we're heading for a reckoning of some kind and in my bones, I feel it's going to get worse before it gets better. Stephen Hawking has already predicted that human life can only survive another 100 years on this planet. We have to find a new one to destroy. Le sigh.
