Where, exactly, did you get "glaringly illegal" out of the statement "not exactly legal?"

And did you ready the article? Because that answers your question.
You're right. It's a huge step from "not legal" to "glaringly illegal." My apologies.
Actually, the only thing that article proves is that Project Free TV itself isn't illegal. Which probably explains why it hasn't been shut down. Streaming sites can be considered illegal, but PFTV doesn't stream anything. It provides links to where people can view content. That's a very different critter.

Actually, I said "not exactly legal." There's this thing called a "gray area" and also a thing called "knowing when you're not exactly being moral."

Again, I'm not judging. I've watched things on there from time to time. That doesn't mean it's right. And just because they found a loophole doesn't mean it's right. And people who are being told about it should be fully informed because here in the U.S., at least, it can affect your internet coverage.

Hi Neesy! Just so you know, Project Free TV is not exactly legal:

The potential problem is that often times the videos being streamed from Project Free TV, or other sites like it, are typically engaging in copyright infringement.

I'm not judging, I just think you should have the facts. My particular internet company issues warnings if you go on sites like this and they are legally able to disconnect your service if you do it regularly. I'm not sure if that's true in Canada.

But it really is a very good show!
Oh wow - do they have to tell you if they slow your internet? I am with Shaw and I swear since watching the first episode that my computer (which used to be super fast) has now slowed down considerably! I enjoyed the first episode but if that is the price I must pay then forgot it!

They do. They have a little pop up that warns you. At least that's what my company does. The first time I got it was on Project Free TV, which someone had recommended to me, and I started doing more research and that's why I thought I'd give you a heads up!

I've watched PFTV many times, and I've never had my internet affected, slowed, shut down or otherwise. And I've never seen a warning about having my internet shut off or slowed. The ads are irritating, but that's the worst of it. If I thought it was bad for somebody's service in any way, I wouldn't have recommended it.

What a STRANGE show...I very much like it so far. I haven't seen Billy Bob Thornton in anything in a while, I like his character.
He's doing a really good job.
I liked the movie, so I didn't expect to like the show. I don't like a remake that's only done for the sake of a remake. But this is fresh, new and thoroughly enjoyable.

I binge watched season 2 recently and thought it was the best season yet. Expect the unexpected! Writing, directing, acting...all aces. I'm glad season three will be on the way. I heard they are filming in Calgary. (Finished filming? I'm not sure. Ewan McGregor will star in this season.)
Sure, you betcha! :)

Doc Creed Sir, have you checked out the tv show Casual (Hulu) I watched the first season and it was pretty good IMO. The second season is available to binge! I think you might like it.

Peace.
I don't have Hulu yet. I would love to see 11/22/63. No, haven't heard of it but I will Google tomorrow for sure. Thanks, about to crash for the night.
I appreciate the recommendation, mi amiga! ;)
