Liar. You said you liked Kangaroo best.
...roller-food baby....7-Eleven
Not true. I said I liked WAWA, but we don't have them here in Cow Hampshire.
I want the Buffalo Chicken Grandpa Melt.Sometimes at the office, I'll treat them to sandwiches from the Fat Shack. They deliver, and they have a buffalo chicken wrap that just melts me.
Last delivery they made, they told us that they were switching up the menu. Our favorite sandwiches, including mine, will be gone. They're going to some kind of chicken-finger array, or something. Our dismay was evident. They're off the list for lunch now. We mourned.
Man, seating is limited when you have to sit in the actual kitchen. If I had to stick locally, I’d give a shout out to Henry's Salt of the Sea. A quaint little place with not much seating, but always packed. I’ve always had great meals there no matter what I select, and it consistently gets 5 star ratings. And the chef actually prepares the meals right in front of you.
...I thought it was called a kangaroo pouch, not a sheesh....I keep my knife in a sheesh....
Kangaroo.........sheesh.......
...damn cannibal....I want the Buffalo Chicken Grandpa Melt.
I like melts, what?...damn cannibal....

That is where I do my Christmas shopping sweety.7-Eleven
That is where I do my Christmas shopping sweety.
Hueys - a local burger joint that has a full bar and live music all weekend. It's family friendly if you don't mind your kids being around a bit of drinking and loud music. It's so lively and the burgers are to die for, I get the three sliders: pepper jack and jalapenos, bacon and cheddar and mushroom and swiss, and those are french fried onions they serve with them. This and a Heinekin just say "Happy Weekend, honey!" Plus it is "the" thing to blow toothpicks through your straw into the ceiling tiles and write your name on the walls. The kids love it.

I once got a six pack and a PB from The Sev (7-11) for Christmas…actually wasn't such a bad present, either
Slurpees and Big Gulps for all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'll go with you to slam down some sushi. I haven't found a really good place in N'ville and miss my haunts on the West Coast. All my faves are local:
1) Shooting Star Saloon-Oldest continuously operating saloon in the state, GREAT burgers, cold beer

2) Rovali's-Best linguini and baby clams I've ever tasted (but everything is good). The owner is a trained sommelier, too, so their wine selection is great and he'll personally pick one for whatever you're having.View attachment 6136View attachment 6137
3) A Good Life Cafe & Juice Bar or Lucky Slice Pizza-For lunch. 'Clean' food, lots of vegetarian options, all hand made in store.
4) Tona Sushi-Phenominal food that looks like art.
And now I'm hungry...
Tona is wonderful! There's one other (Osaka Sushi) a couple of towns over that's very good, too. My lil brother has lived in Seattle and now lives in San Fran and swears by Osaka.I'll go with you to slam down some sushi.
