I have a pumpkin spice lip balm at work - today I looked at the fine print and in French it said:

"Citrouille diabolique"!

Have a great fall Die-A-Bol-Eek!

I have much experience with women's lips, but pumpkin never entered the equation. Although the pic of biting of the guy's leg off did remind me of this one blind date... :)

Things I don’t like about Fall.

As stated earlier… Pumpkin everything.

I’s dark in the morning and I’m not allowed to turn the bedroom light on to get my clothes together, least I wake my lovely wife up.

Dog sweaters. :facepalm_smiley:

Leaves
Wife: You need to deal with the leaves.
Me: Why, we live in the country? Look across the street… A cornfield. I don’t think the ears mind.

Political commercials.

Christmas decorations are already picked out at the stores.

Young girls in bikinis are but a fond memory.

If you had finished that fire pit, you could burn the leaves.......

The woods are lovely dark and deep
I like to drag out the old duvet full of feathers at this time of year - just bought a new duvet cover for it with matching pillow cases

Making home made soup in a big pot - that's the best thing to have after coming in out of the cool air

You've got me wondering where the recipe for my Beef Barley soup is hiding. I guess it is time to put the Madrilène away and start heating it up!

LOL. I had a girlfriend from Arizona, once. Should I tell you what Arizonans think about snowbirds? :)
No need. It's probably pretty similar to what some of us think of the summer tourists here. ;) But in both cases, they're more than happy to take the money they bring to local communities. I notice AZ hasn't been rejecting the real estate taxes I pay.

The leaves changing color are my favorite thing. We only get yellow, but it is still beautiful. There are a couple streets in town where you come up over a rise and can see most of town laid out in front of you, and when the leaves are changing, and if it is a blue sky, sunny day, just breathtaking. With the prairie as a backdrop all around. Love it. Also one of my favorite things in springtime, when the trees are budding.

Leaving windows open, the crisp air in the mornings is another favorite thing.

One thing I really miss this time of year here is the smell of sugar beets in the air during harvest time.

True. I guess an outlander is treated like an outlander everywhere... until it comes to cash and taxes. :)

Grew up as a mid-west boy and always loved the Fall.
Now that im a bit(ok,alot) older and in San diego I have to really pay attention to find the changing of the seasons.
The leaves are just now starting to change on some trees, even though the weather is still quite warm.
Anyway,,,,
The leaves man,the leaves!
