I wanted to give up sooo many times. Don't get me wrong it was well-written but honestly I didn't think it needed to be that long. I have never took so long to finish a book. Even The Stand which was longer was an easier read.

When they got out the dome I never realised how relieved I was
that happened they were just so thankful to be alive, and that they knew that their life was worth fighting for.
soldier waited on the other side of the dome for the kid, that melted my heart. It was really touching. I always like when King brings up Julia's childhood memories, reminded me of IT. It also reminded me of Casual Vacancy by J.K Rowling, the way it showed small town politics.
