I've ordered my copy of Mr. Mercedes. I bet you can't believe it's taken me so long! Neither can I! Strangely I can never rush out and buy the latest release from King. I make myself wait as long as possible. Some of you know what I'm like when I read. I gulp a new book down in enormous bites. This will probably take me two evenings. So I delay it as long as I can. I can't wait!!!

Mr. Mercedes is the first book I've purchased anywhere near the on sale date in YEARS--lol. I'm glad I read it--it was a quick read, like Cell--but you're right, I sort of miss having it to look forward to.

Yeah, they only come out for a short time, to ruffle feathers. Then they stick they're heads in the sand until the next book comes out.

On another note; I feel so behind! I'm starting to have new Stephen King book withdrawals...and it's out there, I just can't get it yet!

Nope... I find most of Kings books rich and dense, like fudge. I need to think about the story as I read. Generally, I don't re-read, but some of the ones he has written lately, are begging to be read again.
