They make figures of everything these days, there's even figures of the Golden Girls but are there figures based on Silver Bullet, Firestarter, or Dead Zone? Nope. The only two Stephen King films I'm aware of that have figures would be IT and Dark Tower. If a Firestarter remake happens I'm hoping Neca does what they did with IT and makes the new Firestarter then goes back and makes the old one as well. The only figure of Drew that I'm aware of is based on her E.T. character, there may be funko pops of her characters but I don't consider Pops to be figures. Sorry to the Drew haters but I grew up watching her in films and Firestarter is one of my faves when it comes to her, while E.T. would be #2. Charlies Angels however is at the bottom, couldn't get into those films... too corny.

Funko Pop has figures of Gage and Church from the original Pet Semetery and I'm pretty sure they have them from The Shining, too.

Aye, they do but I consider Pops to a different breed. When I think of figures I think of Neca, Mezco, and McFarlane. The detail they put into figures is awesome, I mean look at Neca's TMNT figures (they are 140 a pop though)..

Because official figurines have to be produced by a maker with the rights to do so and it’s easier to buy rights to characters off of film and tv production companies rather than from individual authors who’s characters don’t even have official artwork to base the figures off of. There might be Firestarter figurines if a new firestarter movie is made.

Well I was thinking they could get the rights from the ‎‎Dino de Laurentiis Company since they hold the rights to the first film, I believe. However, there'd be one issue, McFarlane and Neca like doing 3d scans of the actors so they can make the figures as detailed as possible.

But you're right, they rarely will bother with going to the authors and its understandable since the authors have no say when it comes to the actors being made into figures, some actors are against it. For example, Jamie Lee Curtis was against it for years. The Laurie Strode figure due out soon is the first Laurie Strode figure made since she finally consented. Drew on the other hand, bet she'd consent in a heartbeat, she isn't exactly an A lister anymore so she'll want the cash.

I'm surprised that they never made a Randall Flagg figurine. I suppose figurines are done mainly for the younger market. I like how some people make their own figurines. Stephen King has a figurine from the Simpsons.
They're going for an older demographic these days because kids are more into apps, and other digital goodies more than physical products. However, the marketing teams for these companies are hit and miss. The Golden Girls figures for example, not sure what audience they're going for.

There are several Carrie figures too.

She looks a bit too old perhaps.

The Dark Tower ones are very nice, and affordable at around 30 euro here, but if I got them they would constantly remind me of how disappointing the film was.

I faintly remember seeing the Carrie figure in a clearance bin, don't think it was a big mover for Neca. There are a lot of King characters that don't have that toy vibe, I wouldn't be interested in figures of the characters from the Stand for example or even a figure of Cujo but I'd buy a figure of the werewolf from Silver Bullet in a heart beat.
