That is a very scary thought. And I'm sure you're not alone in thinking it. I would imagine that this has/is being discussed behind closed doors the world over.
I believe terrorists organize all sorts of practice runs on different aspects of terrorism. Little things that by themselves don't draw a lot of attention, but this one is trying this and this one over here is trying that. They are smart and calculated when they use our technology against us. They are like the bargain hunters of war. They accomplish crap very cost effectively by letting the world build the stuff, and then they manipulate it. If you build it, they will come. And they do.

Somewhere, someone is watching this all very closely garnering information. And it takes so long for changes to be made that there is a window where they could still use what they learn from this test flight for something more.

As the search has gone on for a month now involving several countries, I've started to wonder, who picks up the tab for all of this? I would think that this has gone into the billions considering the resources used and I'm sure the airline can't handle that. I've never heard anyone say and I'm a little curious about how something like this works with all the different countries and resources. Do the countries just volunteer their military for it?
