Congrats on all the book's success, Bev! It's well deserved. I had a great time reading it.
I received my copy of the book of few weeks ago. I am saving it to read on a couple of three hour flights I will be on in January. (aisle seat of course.)
I'm outside staining my fence. A crop duster just flew over my house so low I could see the guy driving the plane.
For the briefest of minutes, I thought he was crashing because the farmland around me is being developed so why would he be coming in hot to spray the fields? Still not sure why he was so low. But, I heard no sputtering. I heard no crash. No flames on the horizon. That's a win.

And he didn't spray anything that would be sticking to your wet fence to mess that up, I hope!
Nope. No spraying. Just motoring along slow motion.
Long ago, because I'm on the outskirts of a flying pattern of airports, I used to cut with the mower "Hi!" in my yard in huge letters.
Such small, silly things make me happy.
It probably made at least a few people who saw it smile, too.
And they probably thought some kid did it. Not some haggy 90 year old.

The trade paperback edition will be out on June 3, from Scribner.
The trade paperback edition of FLIGHT OR FRIGHT will be released by Scribner on June 4th. They'll also be taking over the eBook edition from that day forward.

Just a heads up- Barnes and Nobles has 2nd printing hardcovers of Fright Or Flight on their clearance racks. I think the price was $7.98.
Three stories from Flight or Fright were nominated for the 2020 Ignotus Awards (the Spanish equivalent of the Hugos). They are:
