Crock pot meals. Any of them. I have done it. Always with a side eye.
Something tastes 'off'.

It was probably me because I was not in control the whole time. Ya think you can cook Crock pot? Just sitting there all day.. never can lift yer lid, or the universe spins the wrong way or something.

Yeah. I might make peace with it again.

Ick - me 3 on the coconut aversion. It's hairy.

nottie - asparagus = praying mantis

Don't tell anyone here in my town (but I'm sick of BBQ).

There's not much I have an aversion to - (except the coconut), I tend to just get tired of it: pizza & BBQ are two things I'm tired of.

I think beets taste like grass, but I eat them in my salad sometimes because they are so good for me.

Shrimp (wanna see me barf?). Cantaloupe (slimy texture). Asparagus (if it makes your urine smell bad it's gotta TASTE bad). Beets. Kale Cardboard texture and taste). Mushrooms (taste exactly like dirt- I was a kid once as we all were and ate dirt, don't lie).

Grandma can't do melon. Not watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew. The texture just makes it come right back, and she feels bad about that, because she otherwise would like watermelon, at least. The same thing goes for sushi, although she's kinda biased against that anyway, because the idea of eating raw fish squicks her out.

She used to not like fish much at all, but I've turned her. We eat fish at least a couple times a week now. Just had some pretty tasty pan-fried tuna steaks tonight.
