Manhattan Clam Chowder
If I remember correctly, Manhattan Clam Chowder is tomato based and New England Clam Chowder has a cream base. What, is there some difference between that and some other clam chowder?
This is a regional thing, right, like "barbecue," where 15 different regions claim rights to the only real barbecue?
Is this a Greek pizza? It looks like what we would consider a deep dish around here.I could have pizza and ice cream every night forever and never be sad about it! Local Greek pizza, of course. None of this deep dish Chicago-style nonsense!
Looks delicious! What makes it a Greek pizza, feta cheese?morgan, it does look a little puffy in that picture. Maybe more like
I think just the fact that it's thin, and a special blend of cheese. And also that a lot of pizza places here were established and owned by Greek families. I just posted cheese pizza because that and pepperoni are my most favorite, although a lot of places do do a Greek style with feta, spinach, black olives, etc.Looks delicious! They call it a Mediterranean pizza around here. Ingredients you mentioned plus sun-dried tomatoes. Not a fan of those little guys, so usually pick 'em off.I think just the fact that it's thin, and a special blend of cheese. Suddenly my dinner seems to have not quite cut it. I want some pizza!
That ‘other’ clam chowder is alright, I guess. And it’s not whether one is more real than another. They both provide nourishment. But I’d rather get there in a Maserati over a Prius. What, is there some difference between that and some other clam chowder?

Righty-O. An' that creamy clam chowder stuff be fer landlubbers. If I remember correctly, Manhattan Clam Chowder is tomato based and New England Clam Chowder has a cream base.
Yep, New England (real) Chowder is white, Manhattan ( )is red, and I still can't figure out what "Clear" is. That's always the third option around these parts. Maybe like a soup in broth?
Well, I guess some people actually prefer hamburger to steak.I know, I know. Truth is, I've never even given Manhattan Chowda a chance. I just tried white, found perfection, and stopped looking.
