Eldest son doesn't get network TV, so he's been coming over on Sundays to watch the Broncos with us. If it weren't for him, I wouldn't be parked in front of the TV every Denver game, but you have to treasure the father-son time, so I'm all for it. And he's a Broncos fanatic, and if he knew about science like he knew about football, he'd be busy sending missions to the moons of Neptune.
Our latest text exchange, provided verbatim:
GP: Do you want to come over Sunday to watch the game?
ES: Is the pope catholic
GP: It's not a party. It's just another sunday of watching a Broncos game. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
ES: Sounds good
He gets it. Well, he should. I can tell you what he'll be wearing when he comes over. And it won't be Broncos gear. He says it doesn't work.
