Been watching the spring NCAA games. Penn State has a really tough schedule this season compared to the last few. Glad to see the old Penn State - Pitt rivalry renewed. The PSU WR’s look good, but they better utilize the TE’s more than last year. And I hope they can get a pass rush this year. Local RB Saquon Barkley looks to be outstanding.
It's always football season!!!You're watching football?
You give up on The Phills already?

Actually, I think it could be a good thing. The backup quarterback (assume it's Jimmy Garoppolo) needs experience playing. If Brady got injured, he wouldn't have to step in quite as cold as he would with some field time. It's been something I've thought was lacking with the Patriots line-up as Brady has been getting hit a lot and even as fit as he is, it's got to be taking a toll. Not toward Brady's suspension, no, but they'll definitely count for his back-up getting crucial playing time.
I have a special on Pats' crying towels just for you Ms. Mod.......

Interesting how the NFL Players Association gave Roger Goodell all that power through their collective bargaining agreements, and when he uses it, they cry foul. Now the NFLPA wants Goodell go give up his disciplinary powers and turn them over to an arbitrator. Goodell probably wouldn’t mind doing this, but he’s not about to give away his biggest bargaining chip ahead of the next round of collective bargaining talks. This could have been avoided if the NFL players had a union.

Thankfully. Otherwise it would probably be too expensive for anyone to go to a game, our cable bills would jump an additional $5 a month, and it would end up being turned into a flag-football sport.I think the NFL players have the worst union in the history of unions.

Think what football will be like if the NFLPA isn't afraid of the owners anymore, and the need to keep the players from being injured in this violent sport? The game wouldn't be worth watching anymore. It almost is with the refs they have now...
