Hello every body, my name is Marco, I'm writing from Italy (so forgive me if sometimes I'll suck in english) and I'm a big fan of S.K, even if I have to admit that I haven't read all his books yet; however, I read some of them twice or even more times (IT four times; I know, I'm predictable). I owe a lot to Stephen, being myself a writer and having started just after reading his books. Yes, yes, it's a story already heard, but it' also true. If my works are published today (only in Italy, sorry :D), a lot of credit goes to him.
I don't know what to say more, maybe that I'm 42, father of three and I read S.K since I was thirteen, more or less (and I started just with IT, that scared the hell out of me).
So, here I am.

Welcome, Marco. Have you ever read Patricia Highsmith? She was popular in the forties and fifties and wrote about a con artist named Tom Ripley and they were set predominantly in Italy.

No, never heard about it, I have to admit. Seems very intresting. I'll look for it on Amazon. I like reading foreign novels set in Italy, there is a different view over the country. We take for granted too many things about the place we live in.

...many welcomes...in my case, belated ones but no less heartfelt for that....
