I need to ask for some prayers for a very good friend of mine who is going through a lot of trials in his life right now. Stressful job, health issues, a broken foot, and a daughter with autism who recently had to be hospitalized for suicidal thoughts. It's hard to understand why troubles seem to pile on at certain times in a person's life, and it's very hard to have to watch it happen and feel completely helpless. Thank you if you can spare some prayers and good vibes!!

I wanted to share an update on my cousin’s great granddaughter.
Little baby has reached 4 lbs.Surprising her doctors. She is now down to the lowest oxygen and they are going to try turning it off for a short period. (I think she said 30 minutes.) it sounds to me like she might actually be home for her due date.
The main concern now seems to be her eyes. I don’t know the specifics, just that they keep doing some kind of test. Also not sure whether the concern is one or both eyes.
Another update.
She’s heading to PEI. She will still be in a hospital, but a normal hospital.
And I found out what the concern was with her eyes. Retinopathy of Prematurity. (ROP) which is the cause of Stevie Wonder’s blindness. They were not happy with how the babies eyes were progressing so they did the treatment. Much better now.
Great news. Continued progress.
