Just finished the book,it was really good. i liked how SK had Dolores telling the story from her point of view and thoughts and feelings, what made it cool was that it was linked to the Geralds game story i thought that was kind of neat. So i give it a two thumbs up.

Delores Claiborne is one of my favorite SK books and one I think is very underrated. It's usually not on alot of folks top ten lists. I love the movie, too. Kathy Bates gives a magnificent turn as Delores. She should have at least been nominated for another Oscar!

I thought Kathy and the guy who played Joe were just brilliant. And the rich old lady actress was very good in her role too. Joe -- well Joe. He was scary and made my skin crawl.

That was the first time I remember seeing the guy that played Joe and I despised him. He showed up a little later in The River Wild with Meryl Streep and I still couldn't get over my loathing of him. Guess that's a sign of a good actor? He was nominated for an Oscar for playing some radio or television man from the '50's a few years later.

Exactly. If someone can really get into your skin like that, then he's done a brilliant job.

IMHO Kathy Bates gave another Oscar-worthy performance as Delores.
