Is the link available for last year's story so people not familiar with the way the story is written can get an idea?

Good idea and thank you. For some reason, I thought I had put in here somewhere.
For those thinking about joining the fun, this is what the group did last year. Please note: it was not a heavily edited piece. The details weren't discussed much at all.
We let each person's part be their part. So yes, you will see differences in style, tone, technique. Because, hey! we aren't professional writers and we did this for fun and we WANTED everyone's part to be unique to them.
As someone mentioned above, a game of telephone.
You probably did and I just didn't see it. Many people don't sign up because they feel intimidated, but once they see that this is just regular joes having fun, and they read what the previous group did, they can sit there and be confident that, yes, I'm just as good as that or better!
It was so much fun! I enjoyed the heck out of the whole process. I think I forgot to explain the roll out process.
Here goes:
Once the actual writing is finalized and polished, it goes live on the board, bit by bit, throughout the month of October. One chapter a day is how we did it las year, said if I'm not mistaken.
The best part is watching each part go live, and reading the reviews. People love it!
Are you gonna join us this year so can experience your writing skills??
Unfortunately, she has told me that she will be unable to. I was sad. It'll be okay, Kurben, we will have more people by Friday! Even if it's just us, it will be epic.

Seriously, if you are thinking that you need to be Edgar Allen Poe to do this, take a look at last year's story. It was awesome, but we clearly had fun, and although it requires some effort, it is extremely rewarding.
What a pity!! But you're right, we will write an epic!!!! (and then its kinda fun too......)
THat was so nice, but no skilz here. I can't this year as I will be gone most of October, I wouldn't be able to stay in touch. But, if I wasn't going to be gone, I'd be on the list.
pssst . . .she's mistaken! She has mad skilz, read last year's story and weep. (well, weep may not be not the reaction I'm looking for, but the idiom is understood)
I'd like to contribute again if that's ok. Had a wonderful time last year. Three cheers for Nomik for taking the controls this time around!!! Great support from DJ last year. And Spidey with... well, pretty much everything, everywhere, at all times. No preference for writing order, stick me wherever you fancy.
....Glad to see you back Shoe!....and I KNOW there are others out there with writing talent-specifically thinking Doc Creed, Grandpa, Maddie and many others!...this doesn't take a ton of time and it's not like we're auditioning for anything....it's for fun-period....no big pressures, no harsh critiques-it's for the pure joy of producing something that is yours, but melts into the group gestalt....I was scared to death the first time, and even though I'm my own worst critic-I have been proud of my efforts and so should you be....this is a talented and creative group and it's time to let that shine peeps!...sign up and flex your mind.....
