Has Stephen King considered doing a sequel to this story?

I read The Colorado Kid, enjoyed it, but despite what King says in the 'Afterward' saying how he is satisfied with the ending, I'm not, and Vince wouldn't be either because Vince says in the story it has to have an end. So, has King ever considered doing a sequel for Hard Case Crime, maybe where she solves the case?

...nope, the ending was purposely left vague...
