One other variant cover is the UK cover for 11.22.63. A few have white/silver lettering of the author on the dust jacket, while others have red. I emailed Hodder & Stoughton (the publisher) and was told that, as far as they knew, all were red.

During all my searching around on the web the past few weeks, I found a copy of the book with the silver lettering and blue light from a bookseller online, so I bought it. Here is a picture.IMG_20160330_123941rs.jpg

I wasn't sure this really existed, but now I have one in my hand so I know it does. My guess is that these color variations must be misprints, including the ones with the blue light and red lettering and they got sent out for sale inadvertently. I think the story specifically refers to a green glow. So why would books be purposely printed with blue light?

Of course, I'm only guessing about all this. I have not been able to find any reliable information about these variations anywhere. I'd love to know what the story behind this is. Anyone??
