Hey fellow King fans! I feel so fortunate to have found this wonderful forum as I just sort of stumbled upon it while looking for some King hardbacks.
So I'll get right to it:
I'm Hank.
I'm from the PNW , U.S.A.
I'm 30 and I've been a die hard horror/fiction and ALL-THINGS-CREEPY fan since I was a tot.
I only just recently started building my own little personal library of King books and it quickly turned into a fervent hobby as these things do. I was fortunate enough to inherent a handful of King paperbacks to get me started and lately I've been tracking down my favorite Hard covers / hardbacks. The only hard covers that consistently elude me (yes even used) are The Shining, The Stand, Carrie, Nightshift and Pet Sematary. I've found it nearly impossible thus far to find these used (if even finding them at all) for less than 20 bucks (U.S.). The quest continues!
Anyhow,
A few of my favorite books:
The Dark Tower 1 - 7 (if I have to pick only one of them I'd say Wizard and Glass)
IT
Pet Sematary
Then a few Nick Cutter books:
The Deep (absolutely scared the hell out of me)
The Troop
Little Heaven
I run a Horror-oriented instagram page called @Horrible_henry highlighting and sharing all my favorite creepies.
I'm looking forward to getting to know all you like-minded scare junkies. Nice to meet you!
If you managed read the entirety of this blathering, you should tell me the scariest book you've ever read! Would love any recommendations!
