I'm Doc and I have been reading King since 1990. Started with Misery and was completely transported. I chose Pet Sematary next from the grocery store's limited paperbacks, it had the same cover as the hardcover (I would later learn). My next transition was to buying hardbacks when they were released, which I believe was Needful Things.
My favorites are Pet Sematary, The Dark Half, Misery, The Stand, and Gerald's Game. I'm enjoying the thoughts and discussions of the SKMB.
