Hi all
Just a quick post to introduce myself.
My name is John and I am from the UK.
Long time King fan here.
My Grandma was a huge reader, mainly King, Koontz and Herbert.
When I was a kid I used to stop with my Grandparents during the holidays and picked up the reading bug from these stays. I actually started more with Koontz and Barker. Eventually I picked up a battered old paperback copy of The Stand (the blue one with the face if I remember right) and my fascination with King and his work took hold.
I had a bit of a lull in my reading activity in my twenties, but I have recently rediscovered my passion for all things King....and Barker...and others too
Cujo, Misery, Under the Dome, 11/22/63 (loved this), Talisman and Blackhouse (arguably one of my favourite King novels so far) are among my recent reads. Just blitzed through Revival too, I got this for Xmas along with Mr Mercedes (currently reading).
Anyways, looking forward to reading other people's thoughts and opinions on King and others!
John
