I love good writing. Especially the kind where you fall into the story and don't get bounced out by confusing sentences, boring slow down of plot and messed up continuity. I'm not a particular fan of the horror genre, but I am a fan of good plot and well-crafted word smithing. I read Stephen King's works for that.
