Hi there! First of all i apologize for my simplified english, i'm not a native speaker

I'm not an experienced Stephen King's reader. I enjoyed most of his books, but the last one that i read made a huge emotional influence for me. I feel myself like i must realize my insight through this message.
I finished 11/22/63 on saturday, so i had a few days to think about it. Right after the last page was turned i felt myself fully emotionally devastated. Last 10 pages ran like a hurricane inside my head, several times i even stopped my reading, because i feel myself like i hadn't enough will to continue. Till the last page I believed in happy-end, but my insight told me, that it will not be so. Yes, i could be considered a happy-end lover, but it's not so bad, right?
I'm not a us-citizen, i was born and live all my life in another country. I knew some facts about US history, especially 50's and 60's, because i'm really interesting in it, despite the fact that i grew up on the other side of Cold War. I think, that the zeitgeist of late 50's and early 60's in US was brilliant, it was the period full of hopes and dreams, the period of unprecedented freedom and tasty food. But how the ex-USSR citizen can FEEL it? Only through documentary films, old photos (i like Vivian Maier's street photography at most), rare newspapers and magazines and books, of course books. But did i know that i will find there a great amount of life descriptions, these wee things, which are so important for understanding that period? No, i didn't. And i literally happy. Surely i only can believe on one's bare word when the question is about this depictured atmosphere, but it's amazing.
At the beggining i thought about JFK plot line to be main string, which will pass through all the plot. But as far as i gone over the pages my opinion began to change. Yes, you might be already twigged an answer, Jake and Sadie's meet changed everything for me. Since they had met, the JFK line became not so attractive. At this point i had coupled together with Jake and Sadie and i literally lived their life.
Some of critics consider the plot a little bit slow, because it full of unnecessary facts and actions. But, as it described above, it is anxiously important for me, it assists me to feel the zeitgeist, as though i was a part of the story!
No, I wasn't read this novel. I lived it.
The bittersweet final reminds me some of Bradbury's novels. My emotions was extremely high right after i finished, but today, after a few days, i realize, that this story is actually full of dreamy sadness. It give you a chance to think about what was happened, it give you a chance to fill the gaps in your mind. The destiny connects them through the realities, they are belong to each other. The true love will find a way through the ocean of time, it will strike you with bittersweet sadness through all the years. Never leave your love.
But I believe in love, you know; love is a uniquely portable magic. I don’t think it’s in the stars, but I do believe that blood calls to blood and mind calls to mind and heart to heart.”

Thank you,
