Not bad at all. Even Radcliffe does a decent job.

...this is the one about a Texas cattle drive right?.....
No, it's about those irritating people at football games
You're getting confused with "Custer's Last Stand"
I haven't read the book but decided to check out the movie because I'm interested in Joe Hill as a writer. I was happy to find it a unique story which indeed was somehow reminiscent of some of his dad's stuff. I especially liked how...Reminded me a lot of Earlier SK works and his style. I also like how funny it was... Over all its quite a original... If you have not seen it I recommend that you do, and would like to hear others thoughts on it.
I've never seen a Harry Potter movie
I've seen only parts of a couple of them. I used to be a huge fantasy fan, but in terms of literature. In those days there weren't many fantasy movies at all. I think I got a little burnt out on fantasy, so haven't been inclined to watch Potter or Narnia or LOTR movies, though a friend insisted I watch a couple of the LOTR ones and I really dug them.I thought the supporting cast did an even better job than Radcliffe (and I've never seen a Harry Potter movie). As the movie progressed, his performance improved. From what I remember, the movie did stay true to the book. Hill was one of the Executive Producers, I think.
