Could just be a bit of cabin fever - it is the end of February and I'm sure it is really cold and snowy where you are (or if not snowy at least there are piles of snow all over the place)Hi all I am felling depressed not shure if it just life or the fact I am reading pet cemetery. Don't despair! Spring will get here eventually (Go pet your cat or something [if you have one])
Hope you feel better soon

Sorry about your brother. That's something that no child should have to witness. This was a very difficult book for me..my brother who was a year older, was killed by a hit and run driver when we were mid teenagers, he was a year older..I happened on the scene and he had a massive head wound, and I went with him in the ambulance to the hospital. This book brought up a lot of those feelings I had at the time, horror and sadness and all sorts of other emotions. It was just about three years after my brother being killed, and it hurt..I haven't read it since. I did see the movie, and it brings up the same memories, just can't watch it..
I am a horror fan, and watch a lot of stuff, and have pretty much everything SK has written, I think..not trying to say anything against this book, or the movie, just saying it was so tough for me, can't deal with it again in written or film form..
Thanks, it's okay, a long time ago..just chiming in on how I feel about the book. It certainly is effective, wonder how Stephen feels about it after his own encounter with a bad driver..or maybe he doesn't think about it or parallel any thoughts to the book and that accident. It was pretty bad too, read his account On Writing..Sorry about your brother. That's something that no child should have to witness.
You goof! Good line!!!Now that the spelling mistake in the title has been corrected, I must say that I felt a papery feeling at my fingertips while reading it.
Like I should recycle more.
