Hey that's okay, you ain't, and besides, I'm an open book, covered in dust and dirt back in a deep darkest corner maybe, but open none the less.Aw man. I'm depressed as hell about this. It's not my business to pry, but damn. All the best wishes PITH.
Glad you have found/solved the problem. All right, I went over every order I placed with Amazon.com this year and I think I figured out what happened. I ordered the one thing which was out of stock. Then I ordered a replacement which was less but I ordered something else with it so the total came out to $6.05 more than the original order. When I saw the charge for that one, I thought it was for the first one, which must have never been charged in the first place as it did not show up on my account...so I was confused. Thank goodness it was just me and not a mistake by the bank or credit card fraud!
Because for some reason that simply defies me, and for a few years now, in my little patch of the planet, I literally cannot seem to find anyone who will do exactly what they say they are going to do.
And for no reasons other than they just won't complete the task as promised, like it isn't ever important to at least try, I mean who really cares, right?
It's exhausting beyond measure, I'm tired of it, and it's coming to a head.
Hmm, perhaps I should try it, see what it's all about, as it certainly seems to be all the rage..."rage", whatta good word.
Up until recently, VERY recently, there has been very little to treat Hep C. There are now maybe two? different types of drugs that can actually help. My mother was diagnosed with Hep C several years ago and earlier this year was able to take one of the new drugs. Her most recent blood tests showed her without the Hep C virus. Cured? They don't know for sure yet. Time will tell.Sorry about your friend! Of four people whose graves or memorials I tend, three died of cancer! One had liver cancer caused by hepatitis C, and now seeing a hepatitis C treatment advertised on TV, I wonder how long it has been available and whether it might have helped.
That's all I've been doin' darlin', depending on just me for more years now than I care to count...got no circle, and now it's just me, oh yeah, and two felines, but they never veto.PatHat, you're going to have to change your circle. I know that can be hard. I learn a long time ago to not expect much from others, that way I am seldom disappointed. It is hard to find people that will do the right thing. They really don't know any better so I've learned to depend on the power of 'Me'.

Edit: She has also been diagnosed with Cirrhosis, so that is an added complication. But that hasn't progressed much recently. So maybe the drugs would have helped your friend.
I'm sorry about your friend. My friend knew for years that he had it, (due to intravenous drug use when young), but it wasn't common knowledge until the cancer was diagnosed. He passed away five years ago--I guess I am thinking of him more as his birthday is today--anyway recently I dreamed I was telling him about these drugs and asking if they would help in his case, or did it depend on the particular case and its stage of advancement? Anyhow, what kind of gets me is hepatitis is supposed to be sexually transmitted--he was married for many years, long enough to live to baptize a grandchild. As far as I know his wife remains perfectly healthy, and I guess if she does have it she is smart enough to be aware of the drugs and whether they may benefit her. Also my uncle had it (among three other fatal diseases!) and my aunt was in constant contact with him and as far as I know never contracted it. Yet I believe his brother also had it, which is pretty strange.
I'm sorry about your friend.
