I had to dismiss a client a while ago. I may have mentioned it here, I can't remember.
Long story short, this was a guy that I've known for a long time. He was friends with my brother, and I had even went on a few dates with him when I was in my early twenties....it was nothing special....I considered him a friend.
He had fallen on some really difficult financial times a few years ago, and I gave him haircuts for half price to help him out. When he got his hair cut in August, I charged him the usual ten dollars.....he acts surprised and asked if I had raised my prices. I felt horrible embarrassed and insulted at the same time, but I just let it go.
Then he replies to a post I had made on my facebook page...the one I use for business networking.... where I had asked my friends to like the post, and I'd tell them how we met, my favorite things about them, etc......he said "Don't tell everything, because this is a PG rated site"......Now, THAT pissed off royally. I felt that his comment was extremely rude and highly inappropriate, but I simply deleted the entire post, and went on my merry way.
He got his hair cut a few weeks ago, and after inquiring about the price again, he had the gall to ask me if I would cut his hair at home if he promised to refrain from grabbing my breast.......
That did it.....It was all I could do to maintain a level of acceptable professional composure and not cuss out loud in front of the entire salon. I've blocked him from all my social media, our manager knows I will refuse to cut his hair.....now he amazingly got hold of my cell phone number...... luckily, my carrier allows us to block unwanted callers.
Okay, good vent......
