I have to admit that I give at least a crap about a (very) few "reality" shows, pretty much having to do with survival. No, real (more or less) survival, not placed somewhere with a camera crew and made-up games.
I kinda like Survivorman except I got a little tired of the main thrust being how long he can go without eating, but still, you do get the feeling that he could found dead someday with his cameras there to film it. I kinda like Naked and Afraid except when the contestants are annoying, and it's a restful show when they don't have annoyance attacks. I used to like Man vs. Nature until I found out that the intrepid Bear and crew were staging a lot of the action, staying in the local motel during a lot of the film time, and he sure does like to kill things for the show. Dirty Jobs was entertaining sometimes too.
Online quizzes. They were fun but just wore me down. That, and one quiz said that my personality should have me living in New York City, and while I like that town for up to three or four days, and I fully understand why so many people do like to live there, it is not not not the place for me to live. Dead wrong on that one, pals.
